One fine morning, I received a text message saying that the most romantic thing a person could utter is your name. At first I didn't understand it but as the day went on, I realized that names are relevant because it's the first thing that you tell someone whom you just met. This is the reason why we feel offended and hurt when someone doesn't remember our name. I have a friend named Bernadette whom the male guard in our office calls Catherine. Whenever she passes by, the guard would say, "Hi Catherine." Who wouldn't be annoyed with that? Anyway, I told her to correct the guard. Bernadette said she does everytime but he still kept calling her "Catherine." It was funnyI just laughed at my friend's experience but when it's my turn to experience something like this, I had the same reaction as Bernadette.
